Dongshan Guan won the gold medal in one fell swoop, adding much vitality to the innovative design of national brand hotels and fully illustrating the power of Chinese aesthetic architectural design!

MUSE DESIGN AWARDS, one of the most influential international awards in the field of global creative design, is organized by the long-established international awards association, with a long history and high gold content, and is known for its strict judging system and high-quality judging standards, so that only works with top-level aesthetics and concepts can be honored.

This time, Dongshan Mountain View stood out from the rest, making global judges and professionals focus on Shangyu. From the creation of a national brand aesthetic resort hotel to the crowning of a world-class honor, Dongshan Mountain View has successfully attracted the world's attention.

Originating from the natural geography of Dongshan, Dongshan Mountain Guan taps into the connotation of Dongshan's cultural system and inherits the oriental etiquette.

The design is centered around the symmetrical aesthetics of the central axis of Chinese architecture, and the courtyard culture is carried forward and backward, spreading out layer by layer to create progressive spatial experiences such as gates, lobbies, guest rooms, gardens, etc., which are more ceremonial for returning home.

Craftsmen are invited to design drip tiles, cornice lace, eaves and other purely handmade fine craftsmanship rhythms according to the ancient system, presenting the beauty of Chinese architecture with fine carving.

Local materials are used to create the four seasons with delicate green plants and flowers and windows, and wood and mat weaving are used as Chinese element materials to build decorations, reflecting the quiet aesthetics of classical garden architecture.

Starting from Xie Lingyun's "Fugue of Mountain Dwelling", we remove the decoration and take the vegetation, and return to the true nature between the mountains and the water.

The hotel originated from Xie An, a famous scholar of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, who "had a true interest in the landscape and a great view of the sky", and built the hotel on the mountain and lived near the lake.

Designed to emphasize the self-coordination between man and nature, the hotel is designed to be a water-friendly building under the condition of meeting the height limit of the planning, and each guest room is able to view the mountain and water, integrating modern life into the natural situation of viewing the mountain and water.

Extracting design elements such as Yue kiln celadon, landscape farming and reading, the design focuses on the natural and humanistic scenes of the space. Integrating the building with the landscape and environment, it creates a quiet Jiangnan flavor and elegance through traditional Chinese architectural techniques, presenting a light and simple Chinese modern Chinese style.
