Teacher Jiaxi from RAW follows the seasonal rhythm of spring and summer, incorporating midsummer mountain elements such as water candles, gourds, kudzu root, bamboo, and tung tree fruits into her arrangements. With the creative theme of "Blessings Through the Four Seasons," she blends the cool shade of the woods and wishes for fortune and prosperity into small floral works, creating a serene space that quietly holds the tenderness of high summer, praying for smoothness and well-being.

Floral materials: water candle leaves, gourds (symbolizing fortune and prosperity), kudzu root, dead branches, black water jar

 

With a black jar as the base, upright dead branches form the framework, stretching outward; water candle leaves are arranged in layers, overlapping and cascading, while kudzu roots weave through them casually, creating a natural, wild charm without forced styling.

Individual fruits of the Chinese tallow tree are scattered throughout, and the gourds along with the water candle leaves gradually turn from green to yellow with the passing seasons, capturing the rhythm of summer transitioning into autumn and conveying wishes for good fortune, longevity, and blessings.
